The Musical is… are y’all ready for this… “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL.” Yes High School Musical, Kim Taeyeon was offered the female lead role of cute and smart girl “Gabriella Montez” and male lead role “Troy Bolton” was offered to fellow Idol star Dong Young Bae a.k.a Taeyang of YG Entertainment biggest boy band “Big Bang.” Although people were skeptic about Taeyang being the male lead of “Troy Bolton” because the character is a confident, strong, and non-shy guy and they believe Taeyang didn’t fit that part. But hey he acted before and I can totally see him succeeding the part. Now the Brother-Sister duo “Sharpay & Ryan Evans” would beplayed by fellow SNSD member Jessica Jung and fellow SME member SHINee’s leader Lee Jinki a.k.a Onew.
